Everest Region Trekking

Everest Region TrekkingNepal is rich in its diverse geographical features. The Himalayas comprise the highest mountain ranges in the world, extended through most of Nepal. Eight out of 14 highest mountains in the world including Mt. Everest (8,848 m / 29, 028 ft.) are located in Nepal. Most Nepali people refer Everest as ‘Sagarmatha’ that means “Forehead in the sky”, Tibetan and Sherpa people name it as “Chhomolungma” means “Goddess mother of the world”. Tenzing Sherpa, Nepali heart and a New Zealander Sir Edmund Hillary scaled it for the first time on 29 May, 1953 making its glorious history.
